At Bloomers! Edutainment we have learned that kids who grow vegetables, eat them! We’ve tested 1500 kids and, 96% ate their vegetables! Our mission is to encourage the healthiest planet and healthiest people possible by teaching and inspiring young children about the magical world of gardening. As a transmedia company, we teach children through a multiple platform approach by making gardening a game on 3 “Playgrounds”---at home, at school and online. Plus, the adorable Bloomers! Character’s are easy to fall in love with and provide the ultimate learning environment for learning how to garden and to encourage healthy eating. At home Bloomers! Backyard is our line of kids garden products designed to accommodate you and your kids at home. Whether in your backyard, your balcony, or just your window sill, our backyard products are guaranteed to give you delicious vegetables, help encourage your children to eat healthier, and provide a fun and knowledgeable learning environment that will leave an everlasting impact on your little Bloomer. At school Bloomers! Schoolyard, Inc. is a non-profit organization that is the unique, effective, hands-on and educator approved gardening program that not only meets core standards, but it is also a proven effortless way to teach kids how to grow and enjoy vegetables. Our turnkey, mobile garden kit has everything a class needs to grow a crop of vegetables while requiring minimal space and virtually no upkeep. Online Bloomers! Island is an exciting online environment where kids learn how to plant and grow a seed, can go on a special quest, read stories, win games, win badges, grow a treehouse and get points for going outside to botanical gardens and arboretums. Our cast of Bloomers! character’s help facilitate their real-life learning experiences through avatar role playing. Our virtual game world reinforces the hands-on learning done in the schoolyard and backyard garden within an online playground.
