About Bloomgarden, Ostroff & Associates

Bloomgarden, Ostroff & Associates is a psychotherapy practice based in Philadelphia. We provide telehealth to individuals in Pennsylvania and in-person therapy at our Center City office. Our clinicians use a variety of treatment methods and will tailor their approach to your individual needs. We take an active approach to therapy by helping you develop skills and strategies to navigate stressful life situations in the here-and-now. We will also work with you to become unstuck from past life events that might be holding you back from living the life you want. Seeking out therapy is a way to know that you are ready to confront the patterns that no longer serve you and take the first steps towards meaningful change. We know that therapy is not a one-size-fits-all solution to all the problems of our complicated world. There may also be many barriers to accessing mental health care, particularly for clients who share multiple marginalized identities. At Bloomgarden, Ostroff & Associates we approach the therapeutic work with an understanding that social issues can and do impact personal development. Using a social justice and trauma-informed lens is central to our understanding that mental health is not a singular, individualized issue.
