Blue Butterfly Adventures started as a Travel agency, servicing independent and qualified guided (jungle) tours in the Tambopata Reservate of Peru. Later the activities developed more into becoming an adventure platform, online intermediate services for world travel experience. Activities are private guidance service (in Puerto Maldonado, Peru and Rotterdam area & Kinderdijk, The Netherlands) and Instagram page management. 'Blue Butterfly' refers to a unique and beautiful protected butterfly that lives in the jungle regions where the company operated, this butterfly reflects the environmental 'state' of this fragile region and the serious threats to the world's ecosystem indirectly. It also reveals the passion for migration and conservation of its founder. The company was founded in 2011 by Marco Rengifo Maytahuari who had up until then been working as an official tourguide for several renowned agencies and lodges in Puerto Maldonado for more than 10 years. After offering these customised tours for several years, Marco migrated to The Netherlands. Since then new activities have been added: the start-up of the online BlueButterflyadventures platform that intermediates and promotes worldwide travel experiences by Instagram. As well as the founding of social projects Football Club Real Bellavista, that accommodates a football training to young players at no cost that enables them to develop their talent for football and improves their future perspectives.
