Blue Goose Biorefineries Inc. is a technology development company primarily focused on converting biomass into cellulose nanocrystals (CNC). The BGB method of producing cellulose nanocrystals is based on transition metal catalyzed oxidation of lignocellulosic biomass. The final product is a non-sulfonated, lightly carboxylated CNC. Our process is both commercially scalable and cost competitive when compared with other methods for producing CNC.
