About Blue Heron Support Services Association
The purpose of Blue Heron Support Services Association is to offer support to people with disabilities in developing personal strength in all areas of life as members of the community (see Mission Statement). Our focus is services for people with disabilities. This group includes Individuals with developmental, physical, sensory, brain injury or other disabilities. Blue Heron Support Services primarily supports people with disabilities in the Northern area of Alberta, with our main office located in Barrhead. Provision of support to people living outside of the Northern area will depend on the feasibility of establishing a viable support base at the requested location. The support service provided by BHSSA to any Individual is determined and shaped by that Individual’s needs and wishes, and therefore is never static in its delivery.
