The business was established in 2012 with an aim to launch and manage a number of fixed income and credit focused investment funds tailored for the wholesale investor marketplace. Our High Inome Fund is a strategic credit fund that was launched in November 2012. The Fund invests into domestic credit assets including asset backed securities. The fund has performed above its target return since inception. We offer our clients access to asset backed and other credit products with compelling risk adjusted returns and a key focus on capital preservation. These opportunities have become available due to key regulatory changes since 2008. Blue Quay offers exposure to these products in a managed fund format. Each single investment is the result of a thorough and comprehensive due diligence process and then a detailed monitoring methodology is applied to all the Fund’s investments. Fund and portfolio performance reporting is provided on a monthly basis. Our funds are overseen by an investment committee, consisting of three highly experienced professionals with strong reputations and long industry track records. Blue Quay’s management team brings a wealth of experience in investing and managing credit and securitised assets both domestically and offshore. We adopt a conservative approach to investing. The business was originally founded under the name of Pepper Investment Management and was majority owned by Pepper Group Ltd. In February 2016, a management buy-out of the business was completed, and the name was changed to Blue Quay Investment Management. The business is now wholly owned by its management team.
