Blue Ribbon Health and Wellbeing is an innovative, vibrant and pro-active based support provider of specialist services for people with learning disabilities and autism whom may exhibit behaviour that could be termed as challenging, regulated by the Care Quality Commission. Our aim is to create an outcome based person centred service that delivers support which focuses on the personal, social, emotional, physical and psychological benefits of active participation using the 5 Ways to Wellbeing approach. Blue Ribbon’s ambition is to become a recognised specialist provider in Lancashire and surrounding areas for providing an outcome focused service through positive risk taking. We will be invest significantly into BILD accredited positive behaviour support training for all our staff, focusing on a proactive approach to supporting people to lead fulfilled lives. We will work in partnership with all multi-disciplinary teams to deliver an holistic approach. Blue Ribbon Health & Wellbeing have converted a large detached property into a 6 bedroomed specialist residential service in Preston, Lancashire. This specialist autism service will be for male and female young people aged 16 to 18 years adults aged 18 to 65 years who may present behaviour which may challenge. Located in the heart of Preston, our home is low stimulus, homely and provides a relaxed environment, whilst offering a bespoke robust design. The property is safe and secure and accessed via double iron gates. Situated in approximately 0.55 of an acre of private gardens the property is located just of Millbrook Way a stone’s throw from Booths supermarket, a local pub and the beautiful Hurst Grange Park. Conveniently located on all major bus routes and within easy walking distance to Penwortham centre. The property is split in to 3 parts and has a large lay out offering accommodation to 4 individuals in the main house and 2 individuals in the separate annexes.
