BlueConnect Automotive (BCA) is an IPCo (Intellectual Property Holding Company) that creates and acquires intellectual property in the automotive technology segment. We provide our IP to third party companies who incorporate the IP into finished products that they market, sell, distribute and support. BCA currently owns more than a dozen published patents that enable many of the most commonly requested connected car upgrades to be added to used cars providing safety, security, convenience and fun to the car ownership experience. Our solution portfolio includes: • EngineLock and HoodLock. Inexpensive anti-theft devices that can be installed by anyone to prevent drive-away thefts. • SmartKeyPro. A robotics-based device that enables control of multiple vehicle functions. This solution is easily installed by a typical car owner and uses tiny robots to press the keys on a vehicle’s keyfob, enabling any keyfob function such as remote start, door lock/unlock, etc. to be performed on a phone or from a remote location. • SmartMediaPro. An infotainment interface solution that enables connectivity between the car owner’s phone and the existing stereo unit in a vehicle to provide hands-free calling, steering wheel controls, streaming music and more.
