About BlueMove

𝗕𝗹𝘂𝗲𝗠𝗼𝘃𝗲 was created to support small-scale fishing Co-created by BlueSeeds and WWF Mediterranean Marine Initiative, this fund gives small-scale fishermen easier access to finance, to help them develop sustainable fishing projects. We support them in 2 ways: • Technical assistance: our technical assistants help fishermen to set up their project and submit a grant application – currently to European funds. • Financial assistance: we provide a financial guarantee to banks so that they can issue low-interest or interest-free micro-loans, enabling the fishermen we support to pre-finance their project before the subsidy arrives.
