About Bluerock Environmental Limited
BlueRock Environmental Limited is a independent and chartered hydrogeological and contaminated land consultancy firm based in Furbo, Co. Galway that provides an extensive range of hydrogeological, contaminated land, hydrological and environmental monitoring consultancy services throughout the island of Ireland. It was established by Niall Mitchell BE, MSc, CEng MIEI, PGeo in 2011 to provide experienced professional expertise to a wide range of clients including local authorities, regulatory bodies, engineering consultancies, planners, contractors, EPA licenced facilities and other commercial / industrial / agricultural businesses. Niall is a Chartered Engineer and Professional Hydrogeologist with over 24 years experience in contaminated land investigations and remediation programmes, hydrogeological investigations and general environmental management across Ireland and the UK. He worked for Worley Parsons as a Contaminated Land Engineer before joining RPS in 2005 as an Environmental Consultant and subsequently Associate. BlueRock Environmental Limited aims to understand the business requirements of each client and helps prioritise these needs accordingly. We strive to work in close partnership with our clients and associated management team to develop and implement an appropriate, sustainable and cost-effective solution. BlueRock Environmental Ltd provides regular guest lectures to National Univeristy of Ireland, Galway (NUIG) and Galway-Mayo Institute of Technology (GMIT) to final year and MSc level engineering and science courses. Niall has also provided expert evidence at Oral Hearing and during the conciliation process for private clients.
