About BlueScript UF

The purpose of BlueScript is to help students learn about the screenwriting process, as well as motivate them to complete their own writing projects and give them a space to discuss their work and the work of their peers. Students will attend presentations on various aspects of screenwriting, such as act structure, script format, outlining, etc. Writers circles will be held to allow students a chance to present their own current projects and receive feedback from peers as well as executive board members. Students from all majors are welcome. The most important thing is to have a passion for writing and learning about the craft. Meetings occur twice weekly (on Tuesdays and Thursdays) for a one-hour time slot in person and on Zoom.
