WHAT IS BLUESTAR? Our father started our family business, Link Resource Partners (‘Link’) about 40 years ago. For decades, we have assisted business owners across Canada, the U.S. and Europe, to grow and expand their businesses, or plan for their post-business life. More specifically we have helped with legal, business, M&A, wealth planning and investments for thousands of clients over the years. We have invested as a family in hundreds of businesses and have used our experience to help clients get through the same challenges that we have personally experienced. Most importantly, whether our clients were starting their business life, going through a complex estate planning issue, or selling their business, our father always instilled this basic value: “A client should always leave with more knowledge than they arrived” Over the past few years, we recognized a similar trend. Clients have too many advisors and too many opinions. In many cases they don’t even know the right question to ask. They spend time and money on all of this advice, while each advisor opines over what the best route is. Most of the time, business owners just want a simple solution from someone they trust so that they can go back to working on what’s important to them. We wanted to come up with a way where we could offer clients a true one-stop shop. One meeting with one professional, and one plan of action executed by one team. The interaction between professionals under one roof to help the client would be cheaper, and easier for the clients. It would also make it easier to achieve our goal of helping clients to achieve their personal and professional dreams. As we continue to grow across North America, we are proud to have a team of over 40 professionals that work in 6 offices across Ontario. From Sault St. Marie to mid-town Toronto offering services across legal, wealth, insurance, M&A, and investing sectors.
