As a certified makeup artist serving Northern Virginia and the D.C. metro area, Finn Mauritzen provides every client with two things: talent rooted in years of industry experience and a passion for the transformative power of natural makeup. Whether preparing a new bride for her big day or a corporate CEO for his next headshot, Finn offers on-site makeup services that feel like a holistic day at the spa—and that leave clients confident in their looks. Finn’s extensive work in health and beauty has taken her around the globe. During her time with Royal Caribbean International, she provided five-star services for Steiner Leisure Limited’s maritime spas. In Ireland, she managed a five-star spa at the exclusive Killarney Park Hotel. And in America, she managed two beauty stores for Origins and L’Occitane, and served as operations manager for a Revel Medspa in Springfield, Virginia. She has also provided talent makeup for several projects from The Great Courses, a multimedia educational publisher. Throughout her career, Finn has worked with some of the most popular, top-selling brands out there, including Elemis, Eve Lom, and La Thérapie. Some of the many cosmetics brands she continues to work with are Motives Cosmetics, Lumier De Vie, RCMA, Graftobian. A graduate of the Esthetic Institute in Vienna, Virginia, Finn also holds diplomas in holistic therapies, diet and nutrition, aromatherapy, reflexology and more.
