BM Food Manufacturers (Pty) Ltd. was established in 2006, the result of a merger of two well established food manufacturers in South Africa, namely Bettafresh Prepared Foods and Mediterranean Delicacies. The merger created an entity that is capable of manufacturing and distributing its unique range of chilled products throughout South Africa. BM Food Manufacturers has two main processing plants, one in Cape Town and the other in Lanseria, just north of Johannesburg. From these two plants, we are able to deliver fresh products twice a week to all our clients in South Africa. MEDITERRANEAN DELICACIES offers an exclusive and extensive range of authentic Mediterranean-style food products and are market leaders in many categories. Our range includes dips & pates, olives & olive oil, pickles, meze products, pesto's, cheeses and fresh pastries as well as value added seafood products. Our market includes retail stores, foodservice & hospitality clients throughout South Africa. BETTAFRESH PREPARED FOODS is a world class manufacturer and distributor of fresh pre-prepared foods. Our product range includes fresh salads, sauces, soups, meal solutions & processed vegetables. We supply the major retailers, independent retailers, specialist delis, caterers, the hospitality and foodservice industries, food manufacturers, local and international airlines and many other customers. In 2016, BM Food Manufactures bought the household brands JUDY's PRESERVES; specialising in pickled onions, Gherkins, Cherry Peppers, Sliced Jalapeno chillies, Banderilla's and Judy's Salsa and Soya Sauce, and TUNA MARINE; known for its delightful its olive range packed with quality, value and goodness.
