Founded in 1989 by Hillary Swiggett, Boater’s Insurance Agency, Inc. (BIA) is a family owned and operated agency that specializes in providing insurance products and services within the marine industry. We are located in the San Francisco Bay Area, and are licensed in 48 states. The business began small and has evolved into the company it is today by forging strong relationships with some of the finest and most respected marine insurance companies in the industry. They have allowed us to develop innovative and specialized products and coverage’s for our clients, a core focus of our agency’s mission since day one. We work very closely with many boat and yacht dealers throughout the country who refer their customers to us for their insurance needs. In addition, we are endorsed by some of the most prestigious boat manufacturers in the industry and are able to create factory specific specialty coverage’s not found in the marketplace. BIA is also used as a primary source of insurance by a number of waterski/wakeboard associations, professional waterski/wakeboard athletes and many of the top professional bass anglers.
