About Bob Feller Act of Valor Award Foundation
The mission of the Bob Feller Act of Valor Award Foundation is to recognize and honor our service members and provide support to military families and veteran causes. We educate on citizenship, sacrifice, and service to one’s country. Since 2012, The Bob Feller Act of Valor Award Foundation, a private nonprofit organization with support from sponsors and followers, has provided tuition assistance to deserving veterans, spouses, and students of military families totaling over $36,000 in scholarship awards. In addition to our ongoing initiatives, we have launched the Champions of Valor Program in collaboration with the Boys and Girls Club of Cleveland and the Cleveland Guardians. This program aims to instill the values of service, sacrifice, citizenship, and legacy in today’s youth through interactive activities and leadership principles. The Champions of Valor program includes events where children participate in activities like playing whiffle ball at Progressive Field and teaching them the importance of service and sacrifice in their families and communities. The Foundation uses the Bob Feller Award and his story to inspire the youngest generation with the legacy of the greatest generation, teaching the youth of today about citizenship, service to one’s country, and sacrifice in times of great national need. The Bob Feller Act of Valor Award Foundation is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt organization.
