Bobcat Community Builders is a passionate and dedicated organization founded on the principle of creating positive change within our local community. We are committed to addressing key social issues, including homelessness alleviation, food waste mitigation, and community service, with the belief that together, we can build a better tomorrow. Our Mission: At Bobcat Community Builders, our mission is threefold... Homelessness Alleviation ~ We are committed to providing a helping hand to individuals experiencing homelessness in our community. Through volunteer work, and partnerships with shelters and support organizations, we strive to provide the support, resources and hope needed to combat homelessness. Food Waste Mitigation ~ We are passionate about reducing food waste on campus and ensuring that no one in our community goes to bed hungry. Our dedicated team collaborates with the university, local businesses, restaurants, and food banks to rescue surplus food and redirect it to those who need it most. Plans to host seminars educating students on ways to individually make a difference in their carbon footprint. By doing so, we aim to promote both environmental sustainability and food security. Community Service ~ We understand that the strength of our community lies in the collective effort of its members. Bobcat Community Builders offers a variety of community service opportunities for volunteers to engage with their neighbors, whether through neighborhood clean-up projects, mentorship programs, or initiatives aimed at improving community spaces.
