The Boca Raton Police Foundation (BRPF) is a charitable 501(c)(3) organization that exists to support the Boca Raton Police Department (BRPD). The BRPD has 217 law enforcement officers and an annual budget of approximately $67 million. But with over 96% of its budget devoted to personnel and operations, BRPD has little financial flexibility in an era in which the threats facing our community are growing and becoming more complex. The Department is responsible for patrolling an area of 29.6 square miles and a population of approximately 98,000 residents. On a given day that number rises to over 200,000 individuals that include those working and visiting the City. The BRPF exists for one reason: to raise much-needed funds for training, equipment and technology for the Boca Raton Police Department. Your dollars help our heroic men and women address today's challenges as well as tomorrow’s concerns. BRPF raises funds from the community to fund these initiatives for the BRPD. We work to engage corporations, businesses, individuals, foundations, and other philanthropic organizations to partner with us in our efforts. We are passionately dedicated to ensuring that Boca Raton remains a safe city with a modern, up-to-date police force.
