About Bocconi Students Advocacy & Litigation

Bocconi Students Advocacy&Litigation was established in 2012 as a Law Student Society. Our mission was, and still is, to develop a connection between the "law on the books” and the “law in action", thus contributing to the personal and professional growth of our Members and of every student participating in our activities. Today, not only has Advocacy&Litigation succeeded in becoming the largest and most active Law Student Society, but it has also changed profoundly the lives of many of them. At its origins, A&L stood out for the organisation of Moot Courts: trial simulations (inherited from the most prominent Law Schools all over the world), where students can become lawyers for one day and distinguish themselves for their creativity, oratory skills and knowledge of Italian civil cases. Over the years, A&L has always brought high the name of its Moot Court, but at the same time it has been broadening its interests more and more: • Conferences: on the most diverse subjects (from Economics to Criminal Law, from Behavioural Science to IP, from Information Technology Law to International & European law), always hosted by a balanced and expert board; • Articles & Essays: focusing on the most recently debated legal news; • Meetings: the most effective way to directly interact with top-professionals from courts, law firms and companies; • Workshops: working inside a real law firm and put "in action" the knowledge acquired throughout the years; • Tours: trips to the palaces of Justice, to assist to a real trial; and for who wants to travel even further, a five-days journey to a foreign European University, deep-focusing on a specific subject. And many other events, for it wouldn’t be right to summarise them in such a short description. What truly matters is that A&L is, above all, a tight group of friends, where excellent students share their ideas, passions and dreams.
