About BoConcept Sydney-Melbourne
BoConcept has over 65 years of Danish design heritage. With an award-winning design history. In 1952, two Danish craftsman Tage Molholm and Jens AErthoj opened a furniture factory in a small town called Herning. Their vision of the future for Danish furniture inspired their children and grandchildren. By following their humble values and beliefs, the BoConcept team has created an international success story with over 300 stores in 60 countries. The furniture designers have won the best-of-the-best Red Dot Design awards. They can be found labelled in store and online. And the design team also collaborated with Mercedez Benz to jointly design a new interior for the Smart car. BoConcept is also credited with being the first Danish designer furniture company to introduce a new trend: The flexible furniture system in Scandinavia, in 1979. And in 1984, BoConcept produced the first piece of furniture using the now internationally famous, knock-down principle. BoConcept employs over 600 interior designers and 400 design consultants around the world. Sydney operations are no exception, with a strict policy of not employing junior retail assistants. The majority of the showroom staff have interior design qualifications with many years of customer service experience. That’s one way we achieve a high level of consistency with customer satisfaction. At BoConcept, we understand the importance to respect our clients' current interiors and coordinate with their existing furniture. That is why we take customisation to the component level. With most furniture parts, the clients can choose different sizes, colours, finishes, dimensions, materials, functions and more... And because our brand spans over 300 stores in over 60 countries, we have the ability to customise them more personally and inexpensively. Our professionals will make the most of the space and generate new possibilities to meet the clients' personal styles and needs.
