Body Movements launched in 2021 as the UK’s first queer and trans dance music festival. During this time we have claimed spaces that were not previously ours; from 14-venue takeovers in Hackney Wick, to a sold-out Printworks event, to our new home in Southwark Park, London. We have received critical acclaim from the queer community and wider dance music industry alike. We have raised £35k+ for various LGBTQI+ charities and causes over the last 3 years. Body Movements brings the UK’s leading queer dance music collectives together, side by side with emerging and international artists, all of them sharing stages, dancers, energy and body movement. Body Movements catalyses unique musical collaborations, conversations and celebrates queer bodies in dance music.
