About Boen Laundry Leaves
Boen is a sustainable laundry detergent brand from The Netherlands. Our aim is to reduce plastic consumption by offering a plastic free version of an everyday product: Boen Laundry Leaves. We're a pending B - Corporation. A laundry leaf is concentrated detergent in the form of a ‘leaf’ that you add to your washing drum in the same way that you would add a dishwasher tablet to your dishwasher: it fully dissolves. No mess, compact to store and no plastic bottle. Because we only sell the active ingredient and not the water (as is the case with liquid detergent) we save 90% CO2 during transport & production. The lack of water also eliminates the need for a large plastic bottle, and allows us to use a small cardboard envelope instead.
