About Bogus Basin
Established in 1942, Bogus Basin is a local, non-profit mountain recreation area committed to providing affordable, accessible, and fun year-round outdoor recreation to the Treasure Valley community. Unlike traditional ski resorts, all money earned is reinvested into mountain operations, infrastructure maintenance and improvements, educational programs, and more to enhance the mountain experience for all guests. During the winter season, Bogus Basin offers 2,600 acres of skiable terrain, 26 lit runs for night skiing, a tubing hill, and an extensive network of Nordic and Snowshoe trails. Visitors enjoy lift-served mountain biking at The Basin Gravity Park, scenic chairlift rides, hiking, live music events, and Idaho’s only mountain coaster in the summer season. Bogus Basin is a cornerstone of the region’s outdoor community.
