About Bohldfeys

Joe Horton (the creator behind Bohldfeys) is a multidisciplinary designer and art director working in Denver, Colorado. He has been solving problems by creating beautiful and functional designs for more than a decade. Along the way, he has played with concepts from living typography to tactile design and built tailored brands from scratch. He brings cogent art direction to every project along with a long list of skills in branding, illustration, publication and traditional graphic design. His work is recognized for its use of white space, clean typography and subtle use of color. Joe has experience working with clients across a range of industries, including government agencies, food and beverage, hospitality and non-profit. With a successful track record of meeting niche client goals, he has worked with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, Denver International Airport, Colorado Department of Human Services, the National Parks Service, Big Thorn Farm & Brewery, East West Hospitality, and several Denver-area art initiatives, among others.
