About Boiler Communication
Boiler Communication is Purdue University’s award winning, student-run public relations firm within the Brian Lamb School of Communication in the College of Liberal Arts. We provide PR services to non-profit organizations and businesses within the West Lafayette community. Students have the opportunity to gain hands-on public relations experience, managing their own accounts while working with real clients. The firm is structured as a class and centered around a semester-long project, creating, implementing and evaluating a strategic PR campaign for each client. Boiler Communication provides students the opportunity to expand their professional development in several ways. The organization encourages student attendance at local Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) events, offers leadership positions within the firm and hosts guest speakers throughout the semester.
