About Bolton Community and Voluntary Services (CVS)

Bolton CVS is a membership organisation, supporting the local voluntary, community and social enterprise sector. We provide advice and support to help your organisation develop and grow - whether you're a small, grassroots group of local enthusiasts or a large, well-established organisation, we're here to support and work with you! We help you find and apply for funding, as well as support you in engaging with Bolton's Fund. We're a training provider and offer a wide range of sessions, courses and resources to help you and your organisation develop and thrive. We excel at 'joining the dots' and do so through facilitating a range of forums and opportunities for organisations and representatives from different sectors and communities to collaborate. We also act as a gateway into the VCSE sector for partners such as the NHS and Bolton Council and maintain strong channels of 2-way communication. We truly believe in the power of volunteering and the value of volunteers. We work and support individuals and organisations alike to find, develop and maximise quality volunteering opportunities. Last, but not least, we run The Bolton Hub - an office building and events and meeting space in the heart of Bolton Town Centre that acts as our HQ and that for other charity and community affiliated organisations.
