Boluda Lines, connecting the Iberian Peninsula, Canary Islands, Balearic Islands, Italy, northern Europe, the west coast of Africa and Cape Verde. On land, offices in the main cities and ports meet the specific needs of each customer, offering a tailored, door-to-door service for all types of dry, reefer and special cargo. In America, through its subsidiary Naviera del Mercosur, Boluda Lines operates a river route connecting the ports of Asunción, Buenos Aires and Montevideo via the Paraná-Paraguay Waterway, one of the most important inland waterways on the planet. In April 2024, Boluda Lines started a new short-sea container service from Santander calling to Tilbury and Rotterdam. A new strategic expansion for Boluda Shipping’s sustainable transport reinforces the commitment to its customers in Spain, the United Kingdom and the Netherlands. Boluda Maritime Terminals in Santander offers an ideal geographical location for connections with the British Isles and north-western Europe, and has quickly become a very competitive base of operations compared to other local ports. The Cantabrian terminal was inaugurated by Boluda in April 2023, with an investment of almost 40 million euros and with the new extension being carried out this year, it will have the capacity to handle more than 250,000 TEUs per year. The versatility of our fleet and professional team allows us to tailor our services to the needs of each type of cargo and customer. The container fleet undergoes continuous maintenance and meets all ISO requirements included in the International Convention for Safe Containers (CSC).
