About Bomac Engineering Pty
Bomac has been helping Australian manufacturers lift and move products safely and effectively since 1984. After 15 years of experience designing one-off materials handling solution, it became clear that the future of the industry would be in a standard product that could be adapted to various applications. And Altrac was born. The extruded aluminium rail system was adaptable, safety-tested, low maintenance, light weight and attractive. It can be used in many different applications including jib cranes, monorails, gantry bridge cranes, fall arrest and rope access at heights. It can be used in many different environments such as cleanrooms for food and beverage manufacturing, is safe enough for mining and coating applications and durable for high use applications such as automotive, cabinetry and many other types of manufacturing. It’s attractive and adaptable nature makes it ideal for integrated height safety applications indoors or outdoors on modern, architecture designed buildings. Altrac cranes and height safety systems have been used in all states and territories in Australia as well as New Zealand, the US, South Korea and increasingly worldwide. The next generation of engineers now manage the company and continue with the Altrac brand in traditional applications as well as creating new applications such as mobile cranes and adventure systems. In-house R&D is encouraged and innovation and continuous improvement are encouraged. Connect with our team on LinkedIn or follow us on Twitter @BomacAltrac.
