Founded in 2016 by Creative Director Gemma Martinez de Ana, Bonadea is an emporium of established luxury brands, exceptional artisans and creative studios from across the world. Named after the Roman Goddess, Bona Dea - The Good Goddess - Bonadea brings a curated selection of unique pieces through both its boutique in Belgravia, and online store. From the breakfast table to an intimate dinner or celebratory party, each piece is intended to elevate and set the perfect scene for entertaining beautifully and in ultimate style. With an ethos rooted in sourcing and working with brands that represent true luxury and hand craftsmanship, Bonadea’s collection is varied and rich in unique finds. Hand-painted porcelain plates, jewel-like accessories such as napkin rings and butter knives, fine embroidered linens and one-off objet come together under one roof, making Bonadea a one-stop shop for everything beautiful within the home. Founder and Creative Director Gemma Martinez de Ana utilises her true passion for design and the l’art de la table to create a brand that functions seamlessly whilst providing the very best products from around the world. Alongside the heritage brands Bonadea also creates and designs its own range of tableware, each designed by Gemma, and produced in collaboration with the finest ateliers and craftspeople.
