Boodles Meats was established in 1991 with the first store being opened in the City Centre Plaza, Rockhampton opposite Coles Supermarket. The Business was so successful we decided to expand with a further four stores operating from Emerald to Yeppoon and Rockhampton. Our business grew to the extent of requiring a processing plant and distribution centre. A decision was made to purchase 188 Berserker Street for that purpose. After two years of processing we then opened a retail outlet. When rent and shopping centre management became more demanding the decision was made to start our dream of a meat supermarket. The store where we are today opened in May 2003. We have a total of 650sqm under roof with 28 off street car parks. Today we employ 12 Butchers, 4 Apprentices, 8 Sales Assistants, 1 Administration Officer and 3 Cleaners. We take our role in the community very seriously and know that thousands of Central Queensland consumers rely on us to deliver quality meat at all times. Our Customers expect good services and fair pricing and that is what we’re all about. We are also proud to be active sponsors with local sporting clubs.
