About Book of You
Book of You uses the power of storytelling to bring people and communities together. Using words, pictures, music, film and spoken word, we allow the possibility to share stories enabling understanding, knowledge and empathy. Established in 2011, Book of You was designed around a flexible digital platform that allows for storytelling in all its forms; from individual life story work to shared community stories. In 2020, we received funding from the Social Business Growth Fund, managed by WCVA, to take on new members of staff, expanding in-house skills and helping move the business forward. These jobs were supported by the European Regional Development Fund through Welsh Government. We continue to grow and diversify and in 2023 began work on the Care Home Buddy Scheme and also our bespoke training courses.
