BOOST combines the findings from two research fields into a unique method to increase positivity. Inspired by the methodology proposed by Steve De Shazer in 1978 called Solution focused Brief Therapy we deliver efficient interventions. By focusing on what goes right, laying responsibility with clients and focusing on the present and future De Shazer construed therapeutic sessions by asking very specific questions on goals. While originally a Psychotherapeutic approach we combine the methodology of De Shazer with the more recently developed Positive Psychology of Martin Seligman. Seligman proposed in 2002 that psychology should be more than the removing of mental suffering, it should also BOOST well-being, study strengths, positive emotions, and happiness. BOOST combines these two research fields to get the science of happiness to work for you.
