About Bore

Shipping since 1897 Bore is a modern, international shipping company with long traditions, offering safe and efficient transport solutions as Europe’s leading tonnage provider. Together with our customer we find and develop transport solutions within shortsea shipping. Bore has a total of approx. 280 employees, including personnel in Helsinki and Mariehamn (FI). The Bore fleet consists of 9 highly maintained vessels with either ice class 1A or 1A Super. The fleet utilizes sustainable shipping solutions to ensure safe, efficient and high-quality transport for the industrial market. The traditional RoRo fleet includes RoRo and RoFlex® vessels, sailing under the Finnish and Dutch flag. In the year 2022, 3 new LNG-powered RoLo vessels joined the fleet. Bore’s vessels are all highly maintained and designed for year-round service. The fleet can offer flexible cargo handling and is operated by a competent and service minded crew. Bore promotes high safety awareness with focus on sustainable shipping. Bore emphasizes the importance of ecological approach in innovative transport solutions, to form founding steps for a progressive and sustainable shipping market.
