In my early years in the industry, I was a honeymoon specialist Manager for 5 years followed by 4 years as International Travel Sales Manager for an Argentinean/American travel company. In early 1997, I acquired a 50% stake of a recognized travel agency that had been many years in the industry but in urgent need of new business ideas. By the early 2000's, it became a leading travel agency with the most growth in the New York metropolitan area, achieving sales growth of nearly 300%. In March 2002, I formed Borello Travel & Tours, BTT Corp., carrying the ARC license from the Travel Corp., and relocating to owned office space at 7 Park Avenue in midtown Manhattan. In May 2010, Borello Travel & Tours acquired exclusive rights to the operations of Zamar Travel, a highly reputable travel agency in the New York area with more than 45 years in the industry. The travel industry is my passion, and I take pride in seeing our service and knowledge of the destinations earn praises from our customers, tourism bureaus, as well as leading service providers in the industry and media.
