About Boston Armizare

Boston Armizare is a historical fencing school dedicated to the research, reconstruction, and practice of Late Medieval and Renaissance fencing and combat through the study and interpretation of historical fencing treatises. Our main focus is on the teachings of Fiore de’i Liberi and his art of Longsword and other knightly weapons. We also specialize in Fabrisian rapier and Bolognese sword and buckler. Boston Armizare is a part of the New England Sword Gathering, a coalition of HEMA clubs all across New England and an afflilliate of the HEMA Alliance. We are always happy to host visiting scholars from other programs!
