About Boston Cancer Policy Institute®

Boston Cancer Policy Institute ® is a nonpartisan, independent Research Institute of new social sciences incorporated in Massachusetts. We conduct policy- oriented research, with scientific rigor, on social science aspects of discovery. Our missions are: (1) to seek mechanisms of paths towards individualizing cancer therapeutics and diagnostics from social science perspectives and (2) to contribute to improving cancer/ science policy outcomes. Here, social sciences include, but not limited to: administrative science, organization science, governance and science innovation, science ethics and research policies including intellectual property policies. Current research programs are: 1. Governance and Management Frameworks of translational science. 2. Institutional Frameworks of Scientific Knowledge Production. 3. Research Policies and Governance Modality. Our main products are peer-reviewed or professionally edited research publications and forum presentations. We conduct research for public interests and contribute to explore frameworks that can be transferable to other scientific research.
