About Boston International Academy

Boston International Academy (BIA) was founded in 2007 by Dr. Jeff Lee with the goal of creating a focused learning environment with small classes and a strong focus on academics. Dr. Lee wanted to create a place where students could receive a more effective English education and be better prepared to achieve their academic and professional goals. We began offering ESL classes in 2007, eventually expanding our offerings to include TOEFL preparation in 2009 and TEFL/TESOL teaching certification in 2012. We received accreditation from the Accrediting Council for Continuing Education & Training (ACCET) in 2014 and are authorized under federal law to enroll non-immigrant students.
