Boulangerie Auger is first and foremost a story of family and traditions. We are inspired by our heritage to offer current products and develop breads that Quebecers and Ontarians will love tomorrow. Generation after generation, we are proud to be based in St-Jérôme, in the beautiful region of the Basses Laurentides, Québec, and this since 1949. Why such pride? Because this region represents the values of our grandmothers, who grew up and lived here. Even today, we bake our breads in accordance with the values they have passed on to us. We are committed to encouraging and supporting our regions. We choose the best local ingredients, produced by people you know and trust. For us, solidarity with local producers goes without saying. We are committed to encouraging and supporting our regions. We therefore use ingredients that are the least processed, which have a positive impact on the future of our land and, therefore, of our children. Unbleached and unprocessed flours produced from locally-grown wheat. Nature does things well and offers us healthy products... why change them? - We use a slow, natural aging process that gives the grain the advantage of developing all its flavours and nutritional qualities. - We keep salt down to a minimum in our recipes. Breads sold under the Auger brand are the only sliced bread products certified by Aliments du Québec. The only ones. Nothing less. After 71 years, our passion for quality bread is as great as ever, as is our commitment to producing the best. Good old-fashioned natural and healthy bread produced locally for today's world. Grandma would be proud of us!
