About Bourg's Bayou Blends
Bourgs Bayou Blends is a local small business in southern Louisiana. Currently, our main focus is our Bourg's Boil Blend, originally used for boiling at Bourg's Seafood Bar & Grill (ain't dere no more). After being tired of the leading store-bought brands containing too much sodium (we both suffer with high blood pressure), we decided to pull out the old recipe and began tweaking it. Our family and friends worked hard at being our taste testers and soon we were being told how great it was to not feel swollen and sick from consuming all that sodium. We were on to something, and it was bettering our lives.... we knew we couldn't keep it to ourselves. Knowing that a lot of people suffer with high blood pressure and can't enjoy seafood boils like they want, we decided to look into getting our blend into production. And here we are today... offering Bourg's Boil Blend with only 10% sodium. And for those who want more spice, Bourg's Boil Blend will soon be available as a salt-free option with more spice. Enjoy it salt-free or add salt to your liking. But we're not stopping there. We plan to bring more delicious cajun-inspired products to y'all! C'est bon!
