Boutique was founded by Dr Prem Sehmi who recognised that whitening was being marketed and sold very much as a clinical product. The demographics of whitening sales show that 75% of customers were women between the ages of 25 and 40. Prem felt that by positioning whitening as a high-end cosmetic product, rather than a clinical product, it would hugely increase customer appeal in this group and therefore, increase sales. The results over the last 7 years speak for themselves. Boutique is now the number one whitening product in the UK.
