BOV Asset Management is fully owned by Bank of Valletta plc. BOV Asset Management was the first company in Malta to be licensed by the Malta Financial Services Authority to provide investment management to collective investment schemes. The Company was set up in 1995 and has over 20 years’ experience in investment management. Today we presently manage over €980 million. The majority of these assets are managed in line with the UCITS Directive under a mutual fund legal structure with a variety of underlying investments ranging from money market instruments, fixed-interest securities, equities, exchange traded funds, collective investment schemes and other alternative investments. Whilst we are proud to be one of the key players in the local asset management industry, we have assets invested across the major markets. Indeed, we also manage regional funds investing in Continental Europe, United States, United Kingdom and Emerging Asia through our partners Waverton Investments Management Limited and Insight Investments Management (Global) Limited, both of which are based in the UK. We are also in institutional business, managing portfolios for a number of institutional investors, providing bespoke portfolios, tailored specifically to the needs and requirements of the organization.
