About Bowls Victoria
Bowls Victoria the governing state body for the sport of bowls, and our primary purpose is to grow, develop and nurture Victoria's most accessible sport. As a not-for-profit member association, Bowls Victoria is responsible for managing all aspects of the game, from grassroots to elite level competition, including governance, participation, player development, rules, tournaments, club services and marketing of our sport to all Victorians. Bowls Victoria services over 500-member clubs and over 42,000 registered players. We lead the sport and business of bowls for the benefit of the Victorian bowls community. Our member clubs play an integral role in servicing more than half a million Victorians who engage in bowls each year. We own and operate the Vic Open, Victoria's marquee Bowls Tournament, and guide, support, and manage our state team representatives and world champion athletes who represent our sport on the world stage and proudly call Victoria home.
