About Bowness Bay Brewing UK

We are a forward-thinking brewery looking to expand UK sales, specifically in the North West but additional territories throughout the UK are very welcome. We have a fantastic core range of outstanding award winning beer and lager. We are based in the rugged county of Cumbria, which enables us to use the purest, quality water which cascades down the magnificent landscape in this beautiful county. We purchased Appleby and Windmill brewery in 2019. We retained brands such as Middle Aged Spread, Senior moment, Mid Life Crisis and Haweswater Blonde. These brands will mainly be sold in bottle going forward. New brewery kit by SSV limited was installed in 2019, increasing capacity massively. This enables us to brew 24 hours a day if required and enables us to have full control of production. We opened our own Taphouse called The Brewery House in July 2019, next to the brewery. This showcases our range of beers, whilst enabling us to support local cider, gin and other producers of quality, local goods. We are very excited about the future and are looking to complete our first export deal to Italy in September 2019. We welcome any export discussions, as we believe we have exceptional quality, consistency of product and the capacity to brew to order. We are happy to discuss many projects and we collaborate and work with local businesses where there is a benefit for all concerned. At the heart of our success, is a willingness to continually look for new opportunities, create new products, invest in the areas which will make a difference, whilst insisting that our three brewers continue to produce quality and consistent beer and lager.
