About Boys & Girls Clubs of Sonoma Valley
Each day during the school year, over 400 kids walk through the doors of Boys & Girls Clubs of Sonoma Valley. Across eight sites - including four elementary schools, one middle school, one high school, our Maxwell Clubhouse headquarters, and Teen Services - we provide a safe, supportive space where youth in grades TK-12 can learn, grow, and thrive. Since 1962, Boys & Girls Clubs of Sonoma Valley has been an essential part of our community, providing afterschool expanded learning opportunities, academic support, athletics, and summer camps, while expanding to offer free mental health services, multi-sensory literacy programs, music education, and more. Our commitment to youth development has created a lasting impact, empowering generations of young people to reach their full potential. Our mission is to provide positive opportunities for our community's youth and teens, especially those who need us most, to learn, succeed, and discover their full potential. In 2023 our organization was recognized as one of the California Nonprofits of the Year by State Senator Dodd. Additionally, we have be selected as the Best Nonprofit and Best Summer Camp by the Sonoma Index-Tribune's People's Choice Awards for two consecutive years.
