About BoysGrow

BoysGrow is a farming and mentorship program dedicated to supporting KC urban youth. The two year entrepreneurial program provides our young men, ages 14-17, a variety of experiences and opportunities through experiential learning. Founded in Kansas City in 2010, BoysGrow is now located on a 10 acre production farm that is worked and run by the program youth. Youth learn vocational skills centered around Construction, Agriculture and Culinary Arts. We promote and measure youth development through 10 core soft skills. Youth work the farm 3 days a week during the summer, and once a month during the school-year.
