About Brad McGarry Center for Neurodiversity at Mercyhurst University
The Brad McGarry Center for Neurodiversity was founded in 2022 as a continuation of Mercyhurst University's commitment to supporting neurodivergent students successfully navigate the college experience. The flagship Autism Initiative at Mercyhurst (AIM) Program has been providing support for Autistic students for more than 15 years. The Center is named after Brad McGarry, who took the leadership role in the AIM Program in 2014 and helped substantially grow the program during his tenure. Brad passed away in December 2023 from ALS, but his legacy lives on through the entire AIM family - students, staff, and alumni. For more information, please contact Ryan Palm, executive director, at rpalm@mercyhurst.edu.
