Kay Bradley is the owner of Bradley’s Jewellers on Low Petergate, York. Having trained at the International Gemmological Institute in Antwerp, she now specialises in ready-to-wear and bespoke jewellery creations set with natural diamonds, coloured gemstones and laboratory-grown diamonds, as well as unique collections that are designed in-house and inspired by the city of York. Kay is the first female retail jeweller in Great Britain to be named an Accredited Retailer of Certified Sustainability Rated Diamonds by SCS Global Services, meaning her business directly connects consumers with diamonds that have met the requirements of the SCS-007 Jewelry Sustainability Standard. In 2021, she established Eco Rocks York - a laboratory-grown diamond jewellery brand and e-commerce business that has grown significantly since its launch. In the same year, she was also nominated for two UK Jewellery Awards and was named Independent Fine Jewellery Retailer of the Year at the Professional Jeweller Awards. Kay regularly collaborates with British suppliers and manufacturers to make ‘Created in the UK’ an option for her loyal customers, who also appreciate her business’ commitment to the local community and charitable giving.
