Brains and Bases | Empowering Young Athletes from the Inside Out At Brains and Bases, we believe baseball and softball are more than just games — they’re powerful tools for developing confidence, character, and community. We’re a Central Florida-based nonprofit that provides free mental skills training, fundamental coaching, and character-based development to young athletes, with a focus on underserved K-8 communities. Our programs help players: ⚾ Build emotional resilience under pressure 🧠 Develop a strong mental game on and off the field 💬 Communicate with confidence and clarity Learn teamwork, leadership, and grit 🧢 Access high-quality coaching regardless of income Whether we’re running clinics, speaking at schools, or showing up with smiles and gloves at a local park, our mission stays the same: Use the game to shape the brain. And use the brain to love the game. Led by longtime coach and educator David Pringle, Brains and Bases bridges the gap between athletics and mental wellness with real heart — and real results. Our vision includes partnerships with schools, businesses, community centers, and youth organizations across Florida and beyond.
