At UCLA, we currently have around 70 active members and connections with more than 50 Brazilians on campus, from undergraduate to PhD programs. Our main goal as one of these chapters is to provide an environment for the Brazilian community to interact, share experiences and bond, facilitating the transition into college life and strengthening connections in our community. Still, we are also always engaging with other students interested in Brazil and its culture, constantly partnering with other cultural or business associations to expand the scope of our club. Along the academic year, BRASA at UCLA has an active schedule that includes a variety of events to integrate our community. We focus on social events for our members such as bonfires at the beach, carnaval and barbecue parties open for all students, networking nights, and workshops for freshmen.
