Bravo Zulu House is declaring war on Veteran PTSD. Veteran sobriety is the #1 barrier to successfully treating PTSD. The VA confirms that most PTSD sufferers abuse drugs and alcohol, so we created Bravo Zulu House here in Southern Minnesota. Bravo Zulu House is the first all-military sober home exclusively focused on the unique sober housing needs of our veterans. Bravo Zulu House is partnering with Veteran Organizations – American Legion, VFW, and Disabled American Veterans (DAV) of Minnesota. Our Advisory Board Chairman, Jack Zimmerman, a Purple Heart recipient, helps ensure we are meeting and exceeding the needs of our veterans in every aspect of our planning and execution. Bravo Zulu House is managed by the nation’s leading sober home provider: Trinity Sober Homes. Trinity provides a unique environment that results in 71% of residents remaining sober one year after treatment. That’s nearly 50% higher than other programs. Funding Needed to Remodel the Farm, and Restore our Veterans We’re raising $1.2 million to do the following: -Remodel the farm we bought -Ensure ADA Compliance with in-home lift and wheel chair-friendly rooms -Build hydroponic farming operation for sustainable living and dignified jobs -Build world-class kennel for 10+ dogs to pair with men for PTSD Animal Therapy -Provide Van for transportation to jobs and 12-Step meetings, VA medical appointments, Legion/VFW meetings, etc.
